- As soon as you spot a spot, target it with a salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide treatment. Once it’s “mature,” a spot treatment may more redness as it dries it
- Reduce swelling by wrapping an ice cube wrapped in washcloth and holding it to the zit for 10 minutes
- To get rid of redness, apply an hydrocortisone cream or nasal decongestant, or even Visine
- Conceal your zit with a thick, cakey concealer (stick formulas work well) that either has a green tint or matches your skin perfectly. To apply, use a thin pointed brush like an eyeliner brush and tap with fingers to blend
