- Wash skin
with a gentle cleanser, but don’t exfoliate. Don’t continue if you
have any acne, sunburn, cold sores or cuts
- After skin is dry, do a quick test of the peel behind ear or
under chin
- Swipe the formula (using a brush if you have one)
across your forehead and T-zone, then move out to cheeks and chin.
Skip lips, neck, eye, nostril, and brow areas
- Leave on for the recommended amount of time. You may feel a
little tingling and that’s OK, but if you feel burning or your face
starts looking inflamed, immediately skip to the next step
- Apply the neutralizer to any surface where you had the
peel
- If directions recommend, rinse with warm water and blot dry
with towels, leaving skin slightly damp. Otherwise wait for the
neuralizer to completely absorb
- Massage on a moisturizing formula that doesn’t contain
anti-aging ingredients like retinols as they may irritate the
skin
- If you have any red areas, apply a dab of 1 percent
hydrocortisone cream
- Sleep with your head off the pillowcase. If you don’t
think this is possible, wait at least an hour before you go to
bed
- Make sure to use a strong sunscreen, at least spf 30, and
reapply often for the next few days
- Skip facials and waxing for the next week
