Trim nails straight across and file corners to help
prevent ingrown toenails
Use a wood stick or wet washcloth to push back cuticles
Wipe nails with polish remover or cleanser (removes
last of oil)
Swipe on the base coat in 3 strokes: the first up the middle of
your nail, then to either side. Repeat this 3-stroke method with
all coats
Add two thin coats of color, letting the polish dry
completely between coats. Leave your big toe for last to avoid
smudging it when you’re doing the others
Finish with a top coat and go barefoot or wear open-toe shoes
until they’ve completely dried
