Trim nails straight across and file corners to help
prevent ingrown toenails
Place feet in a basin of warm water mixed with a foot soak for
about 10 minutes
Exfoliate with a foot scrub, lightly scrubbing ankles
and calves along with your feet. Use a pumice stone to soften and
smooth
Warm lotion for a few seconds in a microwave-safe container and
massage it into your foot and ankle. Apply cuticle cream
Wrap your ankle in plastic wrap and leave on for 5
minutes. While wrapped, roll your foot on a tennis ball for a
little self-massage
Use a towel to wipe off excess lotion and push back your
cuticles with a wood stick or wet cloth
Wipe nails with polish remover to remove any oily
remnants and prep nails for color
After drying nails completely, start with a base coat. Use
three strokes: first up the middle, and then to each side to cover
nail completely Repeat this method for all coats.
Add 2 thin coats of color, letting dry completely
between. Finish with a top coat and go barefoot or wear open-toe
shoes until they’ve completely hardened
